Reflection

The semester is finally over and the research process as well. It actually went by pretty quickly. I still remember the first week few weeks of classes where it was all about choosing your topic, researching about it and looking for sources but now is all over, the paper is done and now we just have to get our grades. Is amazing how time passes by so quickly without you even realizing it.This class has helped me so much becoming a better writer and reader. I now feel more confident about writing research papers. I know that I still need some improvement, yet now I know the process to  make the research paper easier to write. This has been a great semester and I wish you all good luck on their final grades.

This semester really went by fast! I'm glad your almost done with your paper. Something that can help you elaborate on your quotes is to focus on the key words of the sentences and just build up from there. You can also just put your opinion about the quote which I think is easier than analyzing it because you just have to write your point of view. Make sure you don't summarize the quote though because I was having trouble with that when I was analyzing my quotes as well. Anyways, hope this helps and good luck on your final paper!

I already started revising my paper and so far is going pretty well. It was actually easier now that I have my paper done to just go and revise and do some changes to it. We did a peer review in class the other day which was really helpful because i was able to get another person's opinion about my paper. The due date for the final draft of the paper is soon so I'm a little excited about it. Hopefully,  everything goes well with my final piece and the changes I have made to it.
These are the things that helped me throughout my research paper:

Annotated Bibliography
Quotation Paragraphs
Outline

I had the same problem too, i didn't know how to transition the information from one thing to the other in order to make the paper flow. I think the easiest thing to do is to write transition words when you want to talk about something that relates or not your previous information.I found a website that helped me a lot with this problem, you should check it out is... http://writing.wisc.edu/Handbook/Transitions.html
It really has a lot of information that can help you, hope this helps!

I'm finally done with my research paper! I'm so glad is finally over. I can't believe I did, it took some hard work but at the end it really paid off. I just have to do some minimum corrections and my paper will finally be good. I was actually afraid of what the teacher was going to think about my paper but thank God everything went well and my paper is not as bad as I thought, i just have to keep working on it. Hopefully my final draft will be better than my first...

I'm almost done with my research paper! but the thing is that I'm just missing one more page and I have no idea what else to write about. I feel like this topic is too complicated because you can take different approaches as to why is there a conflict between the Shiites and Sunnis. But i feel like if I talk about more things than the one I'm already talking about, my paper will take a different approach (idk if I explain myself well but hopefully you understood). I'm trying to research things that are related to what I'm talking about but I'm not convince yet if I should write about that...
